Mafia Matcha | Brand Identity, Packaging Design


ABOUT THE PROJECT:
“Mafia Matcha” was established in 2023 in Ireland with the aim of disrupting the coffee industry. In a world dominated by caffeine culture and sugary energy drinks, the brand seeks a different approach. In Ireland matcha is not popular, anrd taditionally all meetings are over coffee.The focus is on the goodness of clean, green caffeine that promotes a calm mind and sharp brain.

DESIGN SOLUTION:
In the design concept we wanted to point out the playful and bold character of the brand. We are fighters against the coffee industry, we are wellness mafia. In the choice of fonts, colors and graphic elements we wanted to reflect a rebellious sprit of the brand, who will introduce their customers to the hidden benefits of matcha. Thus, an idea of creating a mascot was born.

OUR TARGET AUDIENCE:
Our key customers is Generation Z (20-30 years old). They are active users of Instagram and folllow the new trends in well-being. Our aim is to introduce them with the hidden benefits of matcha, showing that it can make them feel energized without the negative effects of coffee, such as high blood pressure and shaky hands.
